  Walked in here yesterday to buy a small gold chain for myself. 2 workers were in the store and the older of them (let’s call her karen) spotted me walking in and ignored me when I asked for her assistance.
  I eventually got her help, I told her what I was after and she told me, ‘oh no honey you’re looking at at least $400 for that, you should go up to lovisa and buy one you can afford there’. I was in a bit of shock so left to try lovisa, (they had nothing) so decided to go back to prouds after rethinking my budget and thankfully I got the other girl this time who was lovely. She helped with sizing, pricing etc and was kind so I bought from her.
  As I was paying, Karen was waiting to use the card machine for a different customer who came in and I could see and feel her glaring at me, presumably in shock that I could afford anything other than lovisa. I’ll be making a point to not contribute to any sales from Karen again. Also the chain I ended up getting was $340 so no idea what Karen was talking about when she said I’d be paying at least $400.

  Terrible service. I bought some gold $300 earrings and they tarnished. The assistant manager would not give a refund or credit note saying they weren't damaged. They said storing jewellery in the box had tarnished them! Never had that problem before. Will never buy at Prouds again.

  Went into the store on Friday evening with my mum who spotted a ring in the window she wanted to try.
  Never was I so appalled at customer service in a store before! The young assistant eventually came to help us, we were the only ones in the store mind you.
  She was hesitant to take rings out we wanted to try and when mum tried the first ring she proceeded to basically snatch the ring off us, as if we would want to steal it from her!
  Her delayed and hesitant attitude made us feel like a burden and as if we were a hinderance in her day.
  Ridiculous customer service, in such an old and renowned brand.
  Come on PROUDS!

  Service shocking.Ignored till 3 ladies walked in then they were served before me.Spent 420 at their opposition and it felt good

  I bought an item from the window sale, advertised in the window as half price, $114 down from $230 then to be told at the counter that ‘someone has written the price wrong on the ticket’ and charged be $150.
  Apparently Prouds policy to get people in the door and to the till
